I am just wondering if there is any hope for tourism industry in Nigeria. The president just released list of ministry and there is no ministry of culture and tourism in Nigeria.

Pls my fellow Nairalanders what do you have to say.

Wow! That's true, our tourism industry is greatly untapped. The condition of Osun groove, a world heritage is nothing to write home about, even Erin Ijesa etc.

Using Lai Mohamed as the minister of Information and Culture but they forgot Tourism.

Though our tourism has been left behind as you mentioned, we would not
relent as travel consultant, tour operators and all the stakeholders
should take the bull by the horn. Recently, South Africa has taken tourism
aspect as one of the way to boost their economy, same to United Arab Emirate,
Kenya too is not left out. If they as leaders are not responsive, we should take it up
by creating awareness of what tourism is all about, have one voice so we can be heard
by this leaders of ours. Someday we will get it right.
Do you wish to visit Kenya for Nairobi Museum, Desert safari tour, Lake Nakuru, Bomas of Kenya,
Katibu Indulge and so on. it is as easy as ABC, contact kindgoodtours@gmail.com to get details
across to you.

Tourism in Nigeria will flourish if different sectors of the economy is placed in order. For tourism to prosper, transportation and security must be reliable.
