Hello, nairalanders. This problem is like a matter of life and death to me right now. So here's the problem, the series of events that happened when i was still in high school has left me unstable though during my years in high school i wasn't a dullard and i wasn't at the top either that whenever am amidst people am always overtaken by fear to the point of shaking, i have tried many times to change my mind that it's good being around people at the end just to get overtaken by fear whether be it my family, friends and worst of it all when am with a stranger and as you can notice i have no problem socialising on social media. Now i'm having a feeling that this problem is going to destroy my college life. Any advice on how to overcome this nightmare will be appreciated.

1. Begin Talking to strangers- Not necessarily strangers but those folks at school, Buka, bus stop; Just say sonething even if its irrelevant, talk about the weather, ApC, PDP, Your lasr food.

2. Attend public lectures and events- Watching others speak may give you a little nudge to follow suit.

3. Get into arguments- This may not sound Nice, but having to argue helps you express your thought and emotions to fellow human beings.

4. Join an active group at your religious worship ground- Joining an active group will force you to interact and hit the psychological barriers.

5. Do what you enjoy and live life- Life would be meaningless if we just had to live by society's rules; Find things and activities that you enjoy and live life, because it only happens ONCE.
