The Vatican city have received some many threats from the ISIS terrorist group over the recent times, though most of the times the threats came indirectly. Regions and allies to Rome have been attacked by the extremists in the most recent times. Response to the most recent threats that came along after Paris attack, Vatican security have decided to secure the whole whole of Rome as the Jubilee of the Year of Mercy shall commence soon and will welcome lots of tourist round the world. Addressing the Italian Parliament, Mr Alfano said that security would be tightened around any potential target, particularly around St Peter’s Square, he said: “Particular attention has been dedicated to the risk of an attack from the air, using drones.” Italian Interior Minister Angelino Alfano have confirm that all drones will be banned from airspace close to or around Rome from December 8, as the Year of Mercy commence.
