Please people I need your help, I am a single girl in her late twenties, I rented a house in June after leaving my old house in Surulere which was on the high side, I wanted a more affordable house that would permit me have extra money to start a good business. I saw this house in Royal PalmWill Estate Badore Ajah. It was spacious and I paid #400,000 to get it for a year rent asides agency and commission. The house was not yet completed then but the Landlord assured me it would take only weeks, and it would be fixed, inside the house the water is so bad if kept for a day the bucket becomes rusty, asides water leaking into the house when they pump water flooding the kitchen, corridor and sitting room. Then the rats that kept coming from the connecting door that connects the landlords house with mine. I complained he said he had blocked the door only for a case in the house to make me Know that my Landlord has a key that gives him access to my house whenever he likes. I am a young girl and a true child of God, I have prayed concerning this house and I am tired. Now all I need is a lawyer that can help me get back a reasonable amount of my so that I can move out. Please I have documents and pictures to prove please help me anyway you can, cause I am at the moment not staying there. Below are some pictures of the house.

You might end up paying a lawyer much more than what you may be expecting. The case might be dragged beyond your rent. You will still incur moving costs. How long have you got on your rent to run out??

I wish it was that easy, I have done all that, the rat ran away with one rat gum, I dont know how, I have used rat poisons, chemicals all to no avail. That is not the worst part I have horrible nightmares when I sleep in that house and the Landlord hates to see any man entering my house, even my Father wont give me the look he gives me and my father is strict.

I can only sympathise with you. If you have to move out and lock the place up till June, so be it. But be measured in your actions. God bless and guide you..

thosse definitel are not rats. u hv to put a camera therre to investigate

About the landlord having a key to get access to ur apartment, i strong suggest u block the door from ur own side. Just to avoid any illegal entering to house.
