In fact, we have been delivered from every law of the old Testament.

we must get it right here. in the old Testament, especially as recorded in Leviticus, any woman at is in her ''period'' will be cast out as the matter of fact, they will not associate with people for seven days

but now Jesus has abolished those laws and we are free from those laws now.

Please is it wrong to be on your monthly circle and still go to church I asked my neighbor this morning reason why she's not goin to church today then she said Is because she's on her monthly circle that is a sin, and that church of God should be clean and not dirty!!! Believers in Christ are delivered from the law and we are no more under the law. Infact to still continue to seek justification by the law after you've been made righteous through faith in Christ is to fall from grace.
Galatians 5v4 - Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
So saying we christians are no more under the mosaic law but now under grace through faith in Christ is sound biblical truth.
Our justification, cleanliness and rightstanding before God is now through faith in Christ.
So all those ceremonial laws that a woman should not enter God's house during menstruation, or a man should not shave his beards or all the sacrifices etc no longer apply to the new creation in Christ Jesus.
Churches that claim a woman on her period is unclean in God's eyes are preaching what God through Christ has delivered us from -the law. And its heresis.

I totally agree. How come tithing was carried from the law into the spirit by today's churches?

I can agree with me that not all the old Testament, laws was abolished by Christ, example: keeping the sabbath day holy.

Tithing is still, depending on your scriptural understanding.

There are many passages that shows that Tithing was not abolished.


in fact, Jesus said that He did not come to destroy the laws.

Remember, laws constitution ) can be amended and not destroy or neglected.

A careful study of the old testament shows that it was specifically directed to the Jews. In fact it excluded other nations.(Ephesians 2:11-13; Colossians 2:14) We can learn from it but are not bound to its rituals and rules.

Someone said it this way, "The old testament is written for us but the new testament is written to us."

And about the tithes someone mentioned earlier. People hold on to tithes and discard other stuff as old testament. Christians are equally not bound to PAY tithe. They may choose to GIVE tithe or more like Abraham did before the law came. Abraham did not pay tithes, he only GAVE tithe from the proceeds of war- not even from his regular business (Hebrews 7:4) We have teachings on giving and not tithing in the new testament- except you decide to give tithes or more on your own like Abraham, not because of Malachi 3:10.
