Masturbation was not directly mentioned in the bible, but should we ignore it, even as its plunging many into delusion and eventual pit of hell. Masturbation, which according to wikipedia,is a sexual stimulation of one's own genital for sexual arousal or other sexual pleasure,usually to the point of orgasm. Put simply(mine),it is an affair of the mind that brings about sexual sin infflicted on one's own body. To arouse oneself involve handling and caressing etc. If every other sexual sin addressed directly in the bible have the same features and purpose with masturbation,could it be right to think it holy? Bible spoke of us maintaining a clear conscience before God(act24:16),is it not a regurlar confession of every masturbator,that it brings guilty conscience? When has the followership of Christ become a logical issue, that as glaring sinful as masturbation,has become debatable of its holiness or otherwise? Sometimes, when i read some christians comments and arguments, i am miffled beyond words, it is a fact that being a christian is far from arguments or logic,it's truth and life,its spiritual,thats why bible says that it makes no sense to the unbeliever(1cor2:14). 1cor6:18 says,flee from sexual immorality for it is the only sin one commites with his body,please does masturbation occur apart from the body? CHRIST, made it clear that not only the sexual act but its thought is a sin(mat5:28) can a masurbator denia sexual thought? 1thes4:3-5 talks of abstaining from sexaul immorality and keeping our body holy and honourable,is a masturbator an adherent of this? Please,when the bible speaks of works of the flesh(gal5:19-21) can anybody with truthfulness in him say masturbation is out of it? Its not a good report that we abuse our freedom in Christ by playing the ostrich,for freedom comes with a huge responsibility. Please, be weary of endtime teachers of the word.
