Judgement Definition : A decision or opinion made after giving a careful thought

Judgement involves A CAREFUL THOUGHT , infact in the judicial settings , judgement is not passed until proper evidences on which decision can be based is presented ! It happens once , if it happens twice ( through redress ) . Then it means there was a mistake in the former judgement .

With this knowledge , lets go back to theology

Many claim people are judged immediately they died , is that all ? They said NO , they will still be judged at the final judgement , How will a perfect God judge a person twice ? Re u saying he is confused or what ? Did he made a mistake in the former judgement ?

So am throwing the question to all : will there be two judgement or just one ? undecided

Good question.

What I've come across is two deaths:

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.Rev 21:8"

But then there is a reference to many events in which some kind of a vengrance/action is taken against nations/people who sin against God. The the last, most important and decisive according to scripture being as above quoted...

Judgement is continuous. That last one, having a finality.

More than just two, with an opportunity for repentance every time, until the last time. That's what the trumpets and the vials of judgement in the book of revelation is referring to, and the books of the prophets.

It's also not the first time it has happened. There was the curse of Cain, flood of Noah, tower of Babel, the destruction of Egypt just before the Exodus, and use of Israel to uproot many nations on their way to and at the land of promise. There were many times when Israel itself was judged, other people too. These continue to now. All these ancient nations gave birth to us. We are not any different, we are not special.

But I know what you mean. For judgement immediately upon death, am not of that view. Rev 21:8 refers to judgment of ALL people including those who were dead. Which means that after death, they were waiting somewhere for their fate. Somewhere like this:

Rev 6
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
