@bold. Its a big misconception when the word "Dajjal" is translated as "anti-Christ" rather than "an imposter". On the other hand, using the word "Masih Dajjal" which means "anti-Christ" is nothing but a Christianic influence on Islamic faith.

# The advent of Islam vis-a-vis the last Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his progeny) have put aside the doctrine and belief of other faith/prophets. "It is He who have sent His messenger with guidance and religion of truth so he can proclaim it over all faith..."{Quran}. Therefore there is nothing in Islam as "masih Dajjal" - Anti-Christ". We can only have "an imposter (Dajjal)" to Islamic beliefs.

# Yes! Nabi Isa (peace be upon him) is coming back at the end of days. There are theories and submissions regarding this but according to Sahih ahadith, Isa is the last Sahabi of the holy Prophet Muhammad, and the Imam of his time is al-Muntazar al-Mahdi (peace be upon him). Isa will be among his followers and pray behind him. Isa will do nothing except by the command of al-Mahdi, the successor of Nabi Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) at the end of days. The primary assignment of al-Mahdi (peace be upon him) is to eradicate oppression, injustice and false beliefs (which primarily include the false beliefs about Nabi Isa). Whether nabi Isa (peace be upon him) is around or not can never stop the divine assignment of al-Mahdi in eradicating all false beliefs. Nabi Isa only have the privilege to partake and support al-Mahdi's mission being alive at the time.

# The figurative descriptions of "Dajjal" in several Sunni ahadith - a beast with one eye, the other blind, kufr written on his forehead, he ride a donkey etc etc etc. Unfortunately all these have been taken very literally which does not make any sense in this 21st century and of course can never make any sense in the more advanced centuries to come. Many scholars today have interpreted this descriptions out of literalism. They argued its a symbolic manifestation of the evil to be experienced. Super powers with their evil policies, advanced weaponry, ego and double-standard nature etc.

# With due respect to Sheik Imran Hussein (who focus more on Islamic eschatology), there are many beliefs he preached that have NO substantial proof other than his personal interpretation and understanding which no doubt viewed differently by other scholars.

Appearance is, to Jews he will be messiah, their savior and to the Christians, he will be "Christ Jesus".

Reality is, he's not. So to muslims, he's impostor(Dajjal). That's, he will be on earth to perform functional role of real Jesus the son of Mary- the messanger of Allah (as).

In a nutshell, he's "Christ" and "savior" to the Jews and Christians. But he's anti (the opposite) to the muslims. Very simple terminology. So it's nothing confusing to use the word "anti-Christ" when explaining the subject to non muslims. They may not understand islamic terminology, DAJJAL.

I dont think you get the point. We aren't talking about whether Dajjal exist, who he is or will appear or not. We basically dealing with ENGLISH MEANING OR ANOTHER WORD for Dajjal. We can go on and on and give it meanings like Dajjal: fitna, trial, deceiver, impostor, false messiah, pseudo etc.

What textual reference(s) do you need for that?. From many ahadith, his description is a false being that creates turmoil and deception. Why are you stretching this?.

Dear Muslims, I have a great idea to share that All of you should consider seriously. According to the islamic eschatology, the main purpose of establishing the "State of Israel" in 1948 is so that the Jewish Messiah (same person as our Antichrist Dajjal) can come in the future and become the Jewish leader, right? If we insist on calling that state "Israel" then it is really insulting Prophet Yaqub/Jacob (Israel) and the angel Izrael and the whole ummah of Beni Israel, including all the Israeli Prophets such as Musa and Is-haq. Therefore the Iranians and Shia who chant "Death to Israel" are actually blaspheming by saying this. You have heard of the BDS campaign to "Boycott Israel". Well the first step to boycotting them is to start by boycott their self-proclaimed name. Deny them the legitimacy of the Bible and Quran that they use to justify their atrocities and carry out their sinister agendas. Lets call them Dajjalistan NOT Israel and their citizens and supporters as Dajjalians (dajjALIENS) NOT Israelis so that we can let them know that we Muslims are fully aware of the identity of their ripped bodybuilding future King/President/god.
