If there is a player in Spurs’ side who has improved himself exceptionally well, it is Mousa Dembele. The midfielder muscled away the Blues who were pressing him and fetched the ball up field to be utilised by the attackers. The Belgian was employed in an advanced role in the midfield and his mighty physical presence gave an edge to Mauricio Pochettino’s side. He had the upper hand in most of the duels and earned possession for his side time and again. 100% wins in tackles and take one, 4 interceptions and 89% of passing accuracy, as penned down by Squawka, gives a clear reflection of the day Dembele had in the London derby.

2.Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)
One of the main reasons why we find Leicester at the vicinity of the summit of Premier League table, Jamie Vardy surpassed Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record as he bagged his eleventh consecutive goal in the Premier League and deserve every bit of appraisal.

3.Robbie Brady (Norwich City)
Robbie Brady was sensational against Arsenal on Sunday. With the wind making substantial impact throughout the game, Brady worked cleverly with his short passes and didn’t go for long rangers or distant passes at all. The youngster kept troubling Mathieu Flamini time and again and looked dangerous and confident against the north Londoners which gives an insight of his mettle. He was instrumental in Norwich City’s goal as it was him who received Ramsey and fed the ball to Grabban in the process.
The 23-year-old kept drifting himself between the left flank and central midfield to rattle Ramsey who has returned from an injury spell and kept Norwich City’s possession in check. A lot of energy and character was put on display by the former Hull City midfielder and is really getting back to his best under Alex Neil.

4.Fabian Delph (Manchester City)
Injuries and good run of form from the fellow Mamchester City players had hindered Fabian Delph from getting minutes under his belt. But he got the chance to put his class on display against Southampton and made the most of it.
The former Aston Villa captain who left the club in a controversial transfer scored and looks energetic from the word go. Delph was devising ideas offensively and at the same time ensured he does his defensive duties, making the fans jump in excitement in his first Premier League start for Manchester City.

5.Emre Can (Liverpool)
Slowly but surely, Liverpool have found their feet in the league, thanks to Jurgen Klopp’s arrival to the Anfield based club. The German took a risk by employing only one defensive midfielder against a creative side like Swansea City and how well did it pay off. Emre Can was the best player on the pitch for the Reds who protected the defense and at the same time facilitated the flow of the ball up front, thus playing the dual role with sheer perfection as he dazzled against Gary Monk’s side. Can looked like a perfect act and gave away almost nothing in Liverpool’s 1-0 win as he bagged four interceptions, won four tackles, made seven clearances and had a healthy pass percentage of 84% as per Squawka.
