The act of unbelief prepares us for God's punishment.

Reflection on God's goodness need to spur our faith and our trust in God. We need to meditate and reflect on God's past goodness, mercy and answered prayers. It spurs up our faith and trust in him

The act of complain and Lack of gratitude and contentment set us up for God's punishment. Hence, God is an emotional being.
*****

Bottom line, praise God for what he hath done and trust him for things undone.
