Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and his Barcelona arch rival Lionel Messi are the highest paid players not only in Spanish La Liga, but also in the World football, each earning €20m a year.

As you might expect, Real Madrid and Barcelona are in a league of their own with the top 10 earners all playing for those two clubs, each side have five representatives.

Here are 10 highest Paid Players in the Spanish football this season by annual wage.

10. Toni Kroos (Real Madrid) – €7 million

After winning the World Cup in 2014 with Germany, Kroos left Bayern Munich to sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid.
