Guys i just want to share my little testimony about Tecno.

I remember when they first came and everyone called them chinko, including me self but since my friend introduced me to the WinPad 10, I have no regret.

When the WinPad 10 first came out, I was among the first to buy it and i can say that its still working as new till today. I even upgraded to Windows 10.1 for free when it was released. Since then, all my family members have started buying Tecno. They are all surprised that Tecno is this quality even though it is very affordable for all.

No more buying names and not quality at exorbitant price.

My WinPad 10 battery is so strong, if I’m not using it for anything heavy, i sometimes don’t charge it for 6 days but with watching films and videos, it can last for 6 hours. Even my HP laptop cannot go more than 2 hours of films.

This WinPad10 is a beast machine walahi

Seun should start charging fees for opening of threads. These tecno fan boys should go & sit down one place abeg. As far as I'm concerned, Tecno devices are pure, absoulte, complete, undiluted, unadulterated thrash.

It can only last six hours if you're not using it for chunks energy consumption tasks but rather programs like Ms word.
If I may ask,do you buy it with keyboard. The last time I checked computer village,it was selling for 59k until I bought mine which is less than this amount though it wasn't from here.

Can it be charged with a regular power bank? Thinking of buying this stuff. The specs are exactly what I need.

I don't know but if there must be one,it should be of higher amperage ratings than the tablet

Gaming sha. Well it can play angry birds, modern combat, temple run, etc. But once u try installing a high end pc games that thing will fry. It runs on antom based Intel based processor, 2gb of ram and remember no fan. It is good for medium consumption like watching videos, browsing the web, chatting and skyping. It can also do word editing but won't be as fast as a real laptop. U can't even try video editing on it.

But all round its a good tablet/laptop hybrid for students, nothing more. U think microsoft are fools to let their surface pro run i3 and i5 processors with 4gb and 8gb of ram?

Pls can anyone in d house help me out with what I can do to my Tecno Windpad.
On switching it on today, I noticed the entire Keyboard is no longer responsive. The mouse and all the keys of the keyboard are not working.
I know its been a long time I made use of the keyboard but I have also everything I know to make the keyboard work again all to no avail.
Its only giving me the opportunity to make use of the on-screen keyboard in the tablet version but I really want to use the keyboard itself for what i intend to do.

Pls I need advice, help or any suggestions on how to get this rectified. I will be most grateful for your help. Thank you.

Please my Tecno Wind Pad's Charger got spoilt last week, I went Tecno's Carl Care center in Ikeja to purchase a new one but to my utmost surprise, I was told it wasn't available.

When I inquired further on when it will be available, they said they dont know as they usually get it ordered from China. Now I am in a fix cos my Wind Pad needs to be charge yet I cant charge it with any kind of charger cos I wudnt want to risk burning it up plus it doesn't use the USB Kind of Charger.

Please House, can anyone proffer me with a possible solution, it will be deeply appreciated.

a friend of mine was in a similar fix, but he took the charger to a mechanic who fixed it. however this is a short term solution as he looks to get another charger.

Really, I took mine to a mechanic as well.
According to him, he said he checked it, discovered it actually got burnt up, did d little he cud do but still cudnt fix it. I juat tire as I dey now. Person get money, yet e no fit buy wetin ein need. Naija eeeh, I Hail ooo.

Then why do u worry urself. Go to computer village and get the USB cable. One end will be usb the other end will be like the pin cable. It's just N500 or N600. Then use a charger heard with amperage close to ur own and u are good to go.

I have a teclast tablet with similar charger. When my charger got problem I bought 3 of these cables from computer village (it's readily available). My follow come charge usese 5v 3.5A but that charging brick is not available so I use it with charging brick with 5v 2.4A and it works. A charging bring with at least 5v 2A should work with ur tablet.

This is the cable. I bought 1 and after a few months it started misbehaving I went back got another 2.
