I just looked out my office window and can see traffic building up on the outer Marina bridge.

looking further, I discovered that the Apongbon stretch of the bridge was free and to my greatest surprise, the traffic was caused by a BRT bus.

There is a lane merge at the point where the bridge leads downwards to Marina. Instead of road users to maintain their lanes, they try to outsmart other drivers. Now imagine a BRT doing the same and see the extent if traffic jam the driver has caused.

Until we change our mindset, we may not really develop as a nation. It's not until infrastructures are put in place before we behave right. We can have the best infrastructure but if the minds of the people don't work in a civilized manner, then we may never enjoy the benefits.
