In our everyday life we partake in Businesses that gives some certain amount of profit, whether Large scale or small scale, They all yield a certain percentage of income to its owners.

Today we will take a look at the World RICHEST Companies, what they sell, what they earn and who they are.

5. ExxonMobil

REVENUE (USD BILLIONS) : $394

The world's 5th largest company by revenue, ExxonMobil is also the third largest publicly traded company by market capitalization. The company was ranked No. 6 globally in Forbes Global 2000 list in 2014. ExxonMobil was the second most profitable company in the Fortune 500 in 2014.

ExxonMobil is an American Company involved in the oil and gas business.
They control about 3 percent of the World's production in oil and gas, and being ranked as 14th in the oil and Gas producing companies worldwide.

ExxonMobil is organized functionally into a number of global operating divisions. These divisions are grouped into three categories for reference purposes, though the company also has several ancillary divisions, such as Coal & Minerals, which are stand alone. It also owns hundreds of smaller subsidiaries such as Imperial Oil Limited (69.6 percent ownership) in Canada, and SeaRiver Maritime, a petroleum shipping company.

4. Royal Dutch Shell

REVENUE (USD BILLIONS) : $421


SHELL
One of Nigeria's most Richest oil Industries before Chevron and the rest of them.
Shell is no new thing in the game of making bills in the oil and gas business.
Making roads, giving free education, settling communities for using their Reserves, it will definitely be a shock not to see them on this list.

Shell is also one of the world's most valuable companies. As of January 2013 the largest shareholder is Capital Research Global Investors with 9.85% ahead of BlackRock in second with 6.89%. Shell topped the 2013 Fortune Global 500 list of the world's largest companies. Royal Dutch Shell revenue was equal to 84% of the Netherlands' $555.8 billion GDP at the time.

Royal Dutch Shell plc (LSE: RDSA, RDSB), commonly known as Shell, is an Anglo–Dutch multinational oil and gas company headquartered in the Netherlands and incorporated in the United Kingdom. Created by the merger of Royal Dutch Petroleum and UK-based Shell Transport & Trading, it is the fourth largest company in the world as of 2014, in terms of revenue,and one of the six oil and gas "supermajors".



3. China National Petroleum Corporation
REVENUE (USD BILLIONS) : $439

Not so Popular in this part of the World ( Nigeria) but they are very popular in Asian Countries because of its vast involvement in the oil and gas Production.

CNPC is the parent of PetroChina, the fourth largest company in the world in terms of revenue as of July 2014.
CNPC is the government-owned parent company of publicly listed PetroChina, which was created on November 5, 1999 as part of the restructuring of CNPC. In the restructuring, CNPC injected into PetroChina most of the assets and liabilities of CNPC relating to its hydrocarbon exploration and production, refining and marketing, chemicals and natural gas businesses. CNPC and PetroChina develop overseas assets through a joint venture, CNPC Exploration & Development Company (CNODC), which is 50% owned by PetroChina.
In March 2014, CNPC chairman Zhou Jiping announced that CNPC would be opening six business units to private investors

2. SINOPEC

REVENUE (USD BILLIONS) : $461
China Petrochemical Corporation or Sinopec Group is Asia's largest oil refining and petrochemical enterprise, administered by SASAC for the State Council of the People's Republic of China. It is headquartered at Chaoyangmenwai in Beijing, across the road from the headquarters of competitor CNOOC Group.
Sinopec Group ranked first in the Top 500 Enterprises of China in 2007, with its annual revenue over 1 trillion Chinese yuan.
It is the second largest company in the world in terms of revenue.

It has wholly owned operations in Argentina, Brazil, and Canada. It also owns and operates the Sam's Club retail warehouses

Walmart is the world's largest company by revenue, according to the Fortune Global 500 list in 2014, as well as the biggest private employer in the world with 2.2 million employees. Walmart is a family-owned business, as the company is controlled by the Walton family. Sam Walton's heirs own over 50 percent of Walmart through their holding company, Walton Enterprises, and through their individual holdings. It is also one of the world's most valuable companies by market value,and is also the largest grocery retailer in the U.S. In 2009, it generated 51 percent of its US$258 billion (equivalent to $285 billion in 2015) sales in the U.S. from its grocery business.
