The 2015 Miss Wheelchair India Beauty Pageant was held last Saturday in Bangalore, India. Priya Bhargava from Delhi was crowned champion, among the seven beauties vying for title of Miss Wheelchair India. This year’s contest was organized by Dr Rajlakshmi SJ, winner of the last year's contest. Dr Rajlakshmi, who lost her legs in a road accident in 2007, said, "Beauty is not about having a perfect figure and ability. It's all about inner beauty, confidence and intelligence. The initiative showcases the strength of all specially-abled women and proves we can do everything like a normal person."
