A lot of people think that what men really want in a relationship are the superficial things, it is true that men want the most beautiful girl with nice shapes and looks, some men will also say they want a woman that is going to perform the best, sexually. But looking deeply into what men want in a relationship, you will find out that every man looks for more complex attributes in a relationship, but this is not to say that he doesn’t want the above mentioned too. Most women tend to think that once they have the nice curves, the killer shapes, they have all a man wants already but when it comes to getting into a relationship with a man and sustaining it, you got to have a lot more than that. The physical get the man’s attention but what keeps him, is beyond that.

1.) A lot of women tend to hold back on taking the lead in a relationship, men sometimes expects and prefer their woman to take a lead. Although men are born leaders, they want to just step back and watch their woman do things at times.

2.) Very few people enjoy being belittled and no man loves a disrespectful woman. Men enjoy receiving respect and women nowadays don’t enjoy giving respect. In actual truth, the talk on respect runs deep and respect cannot just be awarded and accorded in a relationship; women must win respect from the man and the man must win the respect of the woman.  No one is perfect, and both the man and woman need to be respected for who they are and appreciated this set of values.

3.) Even men want to be admired. Most men enjoy the admiration of their woman for who they are, what they are and all that they have accomplished. All a man wants is the admiration of his woman in all phases of his life.

4.) A man enjoys his woman to be gentle with him. Cuddling, hugging, reassurance of the woman’s love for him goes a long way in a relationship. He does not enjoy the fact that because he is the man of the house he needs to keep a stiff upper lip.

5.) Men too want to be understood. A Man will feel confident when he knows that his partner accepts him for who he really is. Men feel secure when they know the woman understands them. It is only when the man knows he is accepted for who he is that he tries to make changes.

6.) Men want to be able to verbally communicate with their partner. Unexpressed communication lay bricks and builds walls in a relationship.

7.) Men want their women to be able to read situations. That is when around other people, he wants her to know when and when not to talk.

8.) Women need to know that her partner just enjoys being a man with other men.
If the man’s partner has, friends that he really cannot stand being around do not make him spend hours with that person or persons.

9.) A man wants a common ground with his partner. A man enjoys it when his partner shows interest in his activities. A man appreciates it when his partner sits down to enjoy what he is doing such as watching a football game and he also truly wants to share some time seeing the desperate housewives with partner.

10.) A man expects his woman to be strong with him and through the tough times. Every couple goes through trying times and women expect the man to be strong, but secretly the man hopes the same in his partner, to be strong and weather the storm with him. Men do not appreciate a weak woman.

11.) Never let on to the man that his mother is one of the worst human beings on earth. Men want their mother and partner to get along and be happy. Women need to do what they can to ensure this relationship works.

12.) Some things in life are not worth the energy harping on. Overlook simple, trivial things in life and get on with life.

13.) Most men enjoy watching movies or television series in the fantasy arena. Most women enjoy watching other things. Give fantasy viewing a try and know what you are watching with your man so that you are not in the dark.

14.) Some men seem to like the glitz and glitter of makeup and evening ware, sometimes, but way down deep most men like natural even better such as no makeup, and casual attire with a carefree attitude.
