Manchester united have been kicked out of the European champions league after a disappointing night at Wolfsburg.

After over £300m on transfer alone in the past two years, the club still found it hard to advance through to the round of 16.

They had the chance to advance when they got an early lead in the first half but they woefully slipped and gave the home team an opportunity to equalize which they did just after 4 minutes.





For much of the season, the team have been criticized in front of goals and lack of motivation, certain individuals in the team have been singled out for this flop; Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ashley Young among others, but the truth is that it runs much deeper than that.



After the 3-2 scoreline, it means Manchester United would have to play in Europa League after failing to qualify from the group stages of the Champions League
