right-click on any picture/image on ur computer and then click on "open with", you'll see an app. named 'PAINT' in the list.

When u can just press print screen on ubuntu... Print screen works on windows too but u won't get the dialog to save the image but it can be pasted in ms word

Alternative.
Fn+ Print screen. Hit winkey on keyboard type Paint then paste the clipboard.

Like I said before!
I use start + printsc
and its AUTOMATICALLY SAVES by itself in pictures>screenshot
I don't need to press any ctrl p or s or whatever
