Actually some people might know this but I am sure some still do not.It's funny really but I will just go straight to the point.  Did you know? What people commonly call goalpost is not.. This is one of the mistakes people still make in football till date. Uprights are also called posts or the goalposts ..which are the two vertical poles that are connected together with a horizontal pole called the crossbar.... Woodwork is any of the upright or the crossbar... And the whole of a well structured upright and crossbar with a net fixed behind it is called the Goal... Just Goal.not Goalpost.... Hope y'all learn new stuff here.thank u.  |
