Again Nigeria should utilise this opportunity to diversify our foreign exchange earning base. This will altimately make the Naira to be stronger. The present FX regime of the Central Bank of Nigeria is not sustainable and amounts to panic button.
so long demand pressure is on the $ in Nigeria, Naira will continue to depreciate. I don't see the way out of devaluation except price of crude increase or we achieve FX earning base diversification in good time.

Diversification of the economy is the best option for the country to move forward.

True federalism should also be fully established in Nigeria. This will prevent sharing of resources which are meant for one region for another region...

North is blessed with grains
South west is blessed with cash crops
South South is blessed with oil
South east is blessed with great minds and business experts

If all these are managed by capable hands, this country will be great again

Leadership is not easy. Assuming that the previous govt was fully supported irrespective of their shortcomings, Nigerians from all shades could have rallied round this present govt especially at this trying moment in our history. Alas, tribal, religious and regional politics became the order of the day against the previous govt.

I bet alot of ppl can't forgive their selves right now for voting PMB. The most painful part is we can't vote him out again as he won't be as cool headed a Gej to accept the results.

He won't even let anyone win in the first place cos he will rig like mad.

I weep for this country.
Re: Angola Overtakes Nigeria In Crude Oil Production by GiantParrot(m): 1:12pm On Dec 17, 2015
zone20:

Nigeria’s crude oil production fell by 250,000 barrels per day (bpd) in November, making the country lose its status as Africa’s top oil producer to Angola, latest data from the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has shown.Nigeria recorded the biggest drop in output in November among its peers in OPEC, followed by Saudi Arabia, the group’s biggest producer.

Why did production drop by 250,000 barrels? That's a lot. Was it intentional? Or the result of sabotage? Why?
