Madonna ‘wants to adopt Nigerian baby’

STAR singer, Madonna, is searching for a Nigerian child to adopt, it was learnt at the weekend. The 50-year-old singer has allegedly approached, the Mercy Home Orphanage in Kaduna, which contains 30 youngsters, including a female tot she hopes to take home.
Madonna’s foray into orphanages in Nigeria followed her failed attempt to adopt four-year old Chifundo ‘Mercy’ James from Malawi in April.
A Malawian High Court frustrated her bid.
According to the News Of The World, the star has decided to involve a 22-year old boyfriend, Jesus Luz, in her latest plans to prove that her personal life is stable.
A source told the newspaper: “She was distraught when her adoption failed in Malawi. At the time she blamed the fact that her relationship with Jesus made her look like she was going through some midlife crisis.
“But now, she’s looking at adoption centres in Nigeria and has got another female friend to make an initial approach to test the waters. She’s determined not to make the same mistakes and feels that the only way to do this is to get Jesus involved from the off.”
Madonna adopted David Banda from Malawi in 2006, but she faced strong criticism amid allegations that the process had been ‘fast-tracked’.
