Why Pray? by ValentineMary(m): 8:17am On Dec 22, 2015 |
For billions of years, God's divine plan has been going wonderfully well until humans came around with their prayers and supplications. Supposing what u request is not in God's divine plan? do u want him to do,change his plan just for u? Does that not sound arrogant? So what is the use of being God if every 50 naira prayer book can come up and mess up ur divine plan And if their prayers are not ans, they say it is God's plan. Let his will be done. So if he is gonna do his will, why bother pray in the first place 1 Like |

The only reason you think this way of prayers is cos' your definition of the term is wrong. Praying is simply communication with God. Its meant to be a dialogue not an asking session. Also, Maturity in the spirit (deep term, yeah!). But if you're mature in the spirit, His will becomes your will, so there won't be any 'asking against His will'. |

krazydave:Hmmm even Jesus asked against God's will when he said "Father let this cup pass me by...... But not my will but ur will be done". This statement shows 2 contrasting will. Does that mean Jesus was not mature in the spirit And what is the need to dialogue with a God if not to ask for a favour |
