I guess the resumption date you are referring is for existing postgraduate students not new in take. I was at the Sub-Deans, postgraduate office and I was told hopefully by next week the admission will be out. The ICT unit is working on the postgraduate portal, so that it's going to be Web based process that doing it manually.

only God knows how they grade the thing sef...I got 52.22 and it's recommended sha

depending on your course and whether it's part time or full, u might still make the supplementary list since ure above 40...but u gotta be in school

I just checked mine, I scored 49.41 but it's still 'not recommended'. Cut-off mark for the course I applied for was 47 for last session. Do you think I stand a chance?

from what happened last year to a good friend,some people who didn't make the cut off but were close made it into supplementary list my getting recommendations from lecturers, some just by being at their departments to see if spaces showed up since not everyone would eventually accept their admissions...but the people who made it through this route did because they didn't sit at home and accept defeat so easily ....my friend got the part time 'version' of his course

Hi Everyone, I was not recommended I scored 46.67. How valid is the claim that they add marks for First class, 2.1 and unilag students (graduate students)?

Exams is over 60%. other marks are

A. class of degree- 20%

- 1st class = 20%
- 2nd class upper = 15%
- 2nd class lower = 10%

no marks for 3rd class.

B. Professional certificates - 10%
C. Experience - 10%

Unfortunately I have no idea. But I believe it is an added advantage to have professional certification and experience if you did not graduate with a good grade as well as doing excellently well in the admission exam

The cut off mark still remains 40 for some departments, particularly those that few people applied or the general performance was poor. I know of someone that scored 44 and was recommended.

Do you think I still stand a chance? Although I graduated with 3rd Class, I scored 49.41 and I remember we were not more than 42 that wrote that exam. Last year's cut off was 47, you think it's possible they've increased it?
