Hello nairalanders, I just completed an HSE program which cost #165,000. Right now I have my certificate scouting for the promised job that attracts applicants with HSE Now i'm out on the street in search of job. Although i've been very skeptical about undergoing the program, now i've risked all my savings. Please do I have chances of getting a job or did I just waste 165k which would have been used for my rent by january? Advice me pls |

HSE doesn't guarantee automatic employment but it sure gives an edge over someone who doesn't hold the certificate. Good luck in your job hunt!! God will answer us all!! 1 Like |

Its no waste, your certification will give you edge. Safety experts are needed especially in the oil and gas sector. I came across some openings couple of days back. Also depends on the body that certified you, I guess the most popular one is NEBOSH or so not sure of the spelling. Jus surf the net, their shud be somethg good out there for you. Next time be convinced that you're making the right choice before channeling ur hard earned money on a course. Be wise bro 2 Likes |

Do hse cause of your passion for it and not to land a job. if you did the certification solely cause of job you may be frustrated at last. 1 Like |
