most definately a 97-98 model but not a 2000 model besides its the french/european model and not the Nigerian prestige. You can tell the difference from the differences between the rear lights of the french version and the Nigerian version and the 2000 peugeot Nigerian prestige version is far bigger and bumpier than the 2000 french version. So it will be safe to say that you have a 97-98 version for sale. Also the day of make is different from the day of registration, so you shouldnt take the VIN version 100% into to. Worry more about the year of manufacture which should approximately be 1997-1998! One more thing i once own this exact version years back before i sold it! |

Hello Ak, The 406 you have is clean but it is not a 2004 model, but must have been assembled between 1996 - 1998, last batch of that model of 406 were assembled in 1998. Having examined the VIN number, the 406 could still be a good buy if the present condition is ok and the price seems ont he reasonable side. BEST REGARDS |
