Now, the bottom line is this: WORSHIP GOD EVERYDAY BUT GO TO CHURCH WHENEVER YOU LIKE.

If you, till now don't know that the Church is under serious attack within and without, then sorry dear.
Pls don't add salt into injury. we need each other now. If you can stay strong without the brethren, fine, but pls don't come here and confuse the young folk if not, Christ will require their blood from you.
You didn't die for anyone, Christ did, and He specifically said, we SHOULD NOT NEGLECT THE ASSEMBLIES OF THE BRETHREN.

@OP.... Ur advice isnt worth it. Instead of encouraging pple to go to church, u are encoraging dem to go wen they like? I hv this feeling tht u go to church when u like.
It is not scriptural. Please read Heb.10:25.

Are you going to church to meet man or God? Always have a purpose for going to church, which is meeting God personally through worship,praises,hyms, bible study, hearing the voice of God behind the voice of man(preaching from the man of God). Meditate on the word of God and keep praying. So that you can teach and share in the truth(word of God) with others by the help of the Holy Spirit. Thats why you are also part of the household of faith.

We are all members in the same body of Christ.

What will happen if the kidney in a body or liver or eyes stop functioning? The same happens when believers abstain from church.

Stop deceiving yourself my dear... You don't meet God in the church, you only meet people. Churches were made by human hands. The most high God doesn't stay in houses built by human beings(Acts 7:48). God is a spirit; true worsippers must worship him in spirit and in truth(John 4:21-24).

Let me use this opportunity to address this Hebrew 10:25 issue...
The contents of this verse was not a command but an ordinary advice from Paul to the people of Hebrew. So we are not committing any sin by refusing to follow the advice. The same Paul gave an advice in 1st Timothy 5:23 that we should take a little wine for the sake of our stomach. Now, If I refuse to drink any wine throughout my life, will it be a sin? We must understand the difference between commands and advice. God himself hasn't commanded us anywhere in the Bible to go to Church or gather before worshiping him. It was the first covenant that has an earthly place for worship(Heb 9:1), but the first covenant is old, outdated and has disappeared(Heb 8:13). Now, God has made a new covenant for us by putting his laws in our hearts(Heb 8:10) so that we can worship him in our hearts, not in tents build by humans. This is why I encouraged people to worship God everyday (in their hearts) and go to Church whenever they like.
