And if u say Jesus turn water to wine abeg is it an alcoholic wine?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking wine.
Jesus did drink wine at the last supper.

What the bible consistently warns about is obsessive drinking. Read what u posted. Its all clear warnings against drinking till you are intoxicated. Drunkness is a sin because it is gluttony.

Red wine is wonderful for ur heart, most wines are good for your belly.

Note, I say wine and not alcohol in general. Alcohols like spirits , beers, Gins etc are not wines and should be avoided.

Drink wines but don't get drunk. If u can't drink without getting drunk then don't drink at all.

I am sure you think the wine Jesus miraculously turned water into wasn't alcoholic.

No that's not what I think.

I see no problem with alcoholic wine. But not All alcoholic drinks are created the same. Eg gins, spirits, rum, beer etc are alcoholic but are not alcoholic grape wines.

My brother I study Chemistry let m giv u some lecture on what is known as fermentation to produce a non alcohol
ic wine

Some of ARIEL’s varietal wines are are aged in small oak barrels, and all are fined and filtered according to traditional winemaking methods. Finally, more than 99.5% of the alcohol is removed through gentle cold filtration process. This process, which uses reverse osmosis, allows alcohol to be removed from ARIEL while retaining many of the qualities found in traditional wine.

How ariel is done

The base tank is initially filled with wine.
A pump pushes the wine into the reverse osmosis unit.
The cylinders have membranes that separate a syrupy concentrate from the alcohol and water.
The water and alcohol flow into a storage tank, and the concentrate is recycled 10-20 times.
Finally, before bottling, fresh water is added to the concentrate, creating the finished product!

My brother if someone do dis within a seconds is it not a miracle so abeg forget o I knw what am saying.

100% - 99.5% = 0.5%, abi? Mind you, if the process is repeated 10-20times (even if na 100 times) there'll still be some percentage of alcohol left in the liquid content.
Does that answer tell you anything at all?
You cannot be more Catholic than the Pope!
Wine has its definition and so is fermentation.
As a chemist, I expected you to give me a chemical equation of fermentation which has 0% alcohol....then we'd continue from there.
I put it to you that you don't know what you're saying.
personal59:

Can I get drunk by taken 3 dozens of Fanta?
Where in the Bible did you read that all the wine mentioned, had some alcoholic and others non-alcoholic?
My brother, read your Bible and you'd agree with me that the wines (all the ones mentioned in it) got people drunk and even intoxicated.

....and going by your statement (especially the one in bold print) what prove then do you have to say it wasn't an alcoholic wine? I await your logical reasoning sir.

Moderation is key.
Funny enough, mankind can't do without it - directly and indirectly.

No that's not what I think.

I see no problem with alcoholic wine. But not All alcoholic drinks are created the same. Eg gins, spirits, rum, beer etc are alcoholic but are not alcoholic grape wines.

My brother pls point to note

If dis discussion is for the sake of learning I will b with u nd if is for argument sake sorry bro I don't do that

That's by d way to ur question there is nothing like doing it 20times it is automatic process due to ur end product moreover 0.5% is same as zero alcoholic content if u test the alcoholic content afetr end product u will av no reading the 0.5% is just for benefit of doubt nt that it is present.

If u read it well I said "more than 99.5%" nt 99.5%

And going by dis 75 reason above it shows jesus self never taste an alcohol. So it make m ask the question since there is an alcoholic nd non alcoholic wine nd d bible just said "wine" nd its not specific. Those verses negate taking of wine so hw do we explain the fact that jesus take an alcohol wen bible does not support taking of alcohol.

Thanks

Constructive explanation pls

Not for the sake of argument bt for learning.

You wrote that the Bible doesn't support the consumption of wine, abi? Why then would Jesus, of all people, turn water to wine?

Further more, I'll need us to logically consider the following chapters and verses...

Isaiah 28:7 - Priests and prophets stagger and reel from beer and wine, err in vision, and stumble in judgment.

Ezekiel 44:21 - Again God instructed the priests not to drink wine.

Daniel 5:4 - Drinking wine was combined with praising false gods.

Amos 2:12 - Israel is condemned for forcing Nazarites to drink wine.

Habakkuk 2:5 - A man is betrayed by wine.

Habakkuk 2:15 - Woe to him that gives his neighbor drink.

My questions:
1) Are the WINE mentioned thereof weren't alcoholic?
2) Was Jesus' own different from the ones mentioned in those chapters and verses?
3) Can you write the equation of fermentation which has 0.00000000% of alcohol for me?

Thank you.

Brother sincerely only a chemist will understand what I explain above on non alcoholic fermentation.

Yes they are alcoholic and it all occur before jesus christ was born
And all d verses u quote up there and there consequence couple with the 75 I also quote mak me to conclude it isn't good and nt accepted to tke and also the one jesus gave them wasn't recorded as something that intoxicate them.

The difference is that those ones intoxicate those who tk it and the one jesus gave them wasn't recorded as an intoxicant I.e it was nt recorded that it intoxicate anyone after taking it.

Even rice av starch nd alcohol can be gotten from it too that doesn't mean rice is alcoholic.
That's y I said only a chemist will understand m better (I mean unbiased chemist)

The traditional jewish wine has never been non.alcholic. Thank God you are a scientists. This however is my field so i too know what am saying. Ask your pators to tell you the truth, when they go on pilgrimages to jerusalem, they are welcomed to the various sites with the jewish traditional wine at some points. My neigbour had a fall out with his pastors cos of this same issue. He finally got to go on pilgrimage with his church elders and discovered that they were lying to him and misinterpreting the bible without historical facts. (which is important) he now drinks to their face wen they come to his house cos they know they are wrong they cant say nothing. Also, he came along with a refined bottle of wine from his pilgrimage. It is called the wine at thwe wedding at cana. According to the tourist its a sweet wine used during jewish traditional weddings for ages, he also said while bottling they reduced the alchohol content cos the original one has high level of alchohol. Its like saying the palmwine which the igbos wen they were still practicing traditional religion is not alcholic wine anymore cos they now practice christianity. However, even our ancestors had proverbs about drunk men, does that mean they didnt drink? undecided

Wine is alcoholic by nature.....and all the ones recorded in the Bible, including the one Jesus turned water into, was alcoholic.
My own be say nobody fit deceive me about its consumption sha.
