The Story Of Pa Black by philfearon(m): 6:33am On Jan 04, 2016
Stories of mythical African men who were justifiably or unjustifiably tagged with the supposed mystery of having something of supernatural origin exist, usually judging from the life they live(d) and the general perception people unquestionably ascribed to their existence which is shrouded in mystery..
Pa Black is simply one of those myths and mystery, and the fact that he is still living and is healthily alive and well complicates his story the more, and most natives will happily verify all the myths surrounding this great man as he is loved by them all and feared by them all at the same time.
Pa Black is a native of a little suburb in a small countryside in Cameroon where the inhabitants did not even know that udara(African star apple) is edible. His origin is unknown and you will be seeking your own life misery if you try to pry into that matter. Pa Black has been rumoured to be a god and King of one of the most important local Stream in the region. As such, people revere him.
He is a down to earth man who looks for nobody's business, and people verifiably has been quoted of saying so many times that Pa Black and the natives hates the untimely ending of someone's life;as such, Pa Black has never killed anyone before.
But why is Pa Black so powerful and feared?
Pa Black has been duly acknowledged as the protector of the village he does reside in and as such, nothing of importance happens without him giving it the go-ahead to succeed. And unless Pa Black says yes, no event whatsoever no matter how big or important will hold. Pa Black once appeared in a bush were two guys were returning from a hunting expedition and told them to offer up one of their loots if they cross his Stream, but the youths defied him. It was later found that the loots was lost to a bunch of maggots as it was carved up and got wasted along the process.
Pa Black once walked up to her daughters husband as he was returning from farm and told him to throw away his gun and machete into his stream, which the husband did hesitantly and out of respect. On reaching home, he found same gun and machete in his living room and the man ran away forever. Pa Black was of the opinion that anybody that wants to marry his daughter must be strong.
Pa Black has been said to grant children their wishes of seeing wild animals they may not see in their life time. He will simply send you on a tiny errand near a bush side and then manifest into an animal of your choice, and of course, the children always run away;not that he was going to attack anyway.
Pa Black once entertained twelve Igbo guys by offering them food, and then for whatever reason, they found it funny to make away with his spoon. It was told that Pa Black gave them the highest frightening of their lives and it took the interception of the villagers before he let them go.
A bridge was once planned to be built over Pa Blacks stream, and after preliminary consultations with Pa Black, the people in charge decided to go ahead with their plan without doing what Pa Black demanded. He made as if he forgot until the bridge was built. Six months later, as if waiting for the ultimate time to pounce, two heavy trailers with loads and one Caterpillar found themselves in that bridge all at same time, trying to pass. Pa Black attacked. Like magic, the bridge swallowed the three vehicles and if you are standing over the rails, they are perfectly visible. The villagers again interceded and Pa Black decided that no life was going to be Lost, but the vehicles remained there unharmed only to be retrieved after Pa Black has been appeased...
Pa Black is something of an enigma. Noone even knows his real age and he is been rumoured to be around 100-120yrs based on speculation. The good thing though is that for Pa Black, age is just in numbers and do not for whatever reason affect his mobility and agility and his strength..
Pa Blacks favorite food is pepper and he rarely eats anything with salt in it. According to him, pepper contains the secrets to huge untapped strength and if adequately taken, ensures long life and strength.
Pa Black loves children a lot, and will usually gather them and tell them different stories and usually to teach them moral lessons, as well as entertain them and also satisfy their curiosity.. As a reference point, children are being scared into doing their chores by citing that they will be taken to Pa Black to be dealt with.
Pa Black hates Injustice and unlawfulness.Every villager that has been wronged both at home and outside is sure to receive justice upon bringing such complaint to Pa Black.
Pa Black never kills.
It's been ever wondered at why such a powerful man that can easily end a life always found it hard to kill. Of course Noone inquired to know why, but speculations abound as to why Pa Black never kills.
Pa Black is a very humble man and does not look for anyone's trouble, instead he prefers to solve problems for others out of sympathy.. If you got swallowed by Pa Blacks stream, be sure to see yourself mysteriously land in a big forest. And if your people do the requisite things expected of them, PA Black will give them the direction to find you..
Pa Black does not joke with his children.. In fact, you will be the biggest idiot on earth to even bring up such thought in your mind.
Many other events and stories abound about Pa Black, with his usual main concern usually being that whatever you are doing that is of importance, you must tell him, if not it can never hold. But once Pa Black is with you, no man can harm you.
Whether myth or mystery, one thing is certain though, PA Black is a god feared by all and loved by all as well as respected by all who know him in his own right.
