There is no magic in passing any examination, because life itself is governed by law and principle. It is impossible for a man who has no knowledge of medicine to prescribe drugs for a patient. Same also apply to any examination. You must get yourself prepared ahead of any examination. So below are some important points to get you ready in jamb and any examination you may encounter in life.

1. Study hard, Not read Hard; Yes study is the act of training and reading is an act of reciting, you cannot go to the battle field without a proper training. If you want to excel in any examination then you must take up the step to studying hard.

2. No subject is too difficult Your thought determines your result; a negative thought to any subject is equal to a negative result at the end of the exam. Always think positive if you want to achieve positive grades.

3. Avoid reading too much Excess of anything is bad; reading too much may cause brain tumor, read little and try to study that little you have read by the time you do this for 1-2 months you will discover yourself in another realm.

4. Conquer fear Avoid fear of the unknown; it is the weak point of any body. When you allow fear to hold you, you have automatically attracted failure. Say no to fear and stay focused, bold and enthusiasts. Your end will always be successful.

5. Study Jamb past questions: It is obvious that jamb do repeat some of it question in the recent times, when you come across question you already know you don't need to look at it twice before chosen your answer and this will help you to save time.

6. Be concious of time factor: Research has made it known that 30 percent of students who emerge with lower score is as a result of time factor, any question you don't know it is advice that you skip that question to save time and after which you are through you can come back to it again. By the time you finish your questions you will realize that you still have ample time to cross check your work again.

7. Get there before time: It is advice to be at your exam centre 1hr before your exam and 10 min to your seat before exam commences as this would enable you stress out your anxiety and fear.

8. Follow Instructions. There is always "does" and "don't" in any examination. Take time to go through them and abide by the the rules guiding them. With this you will certainly know your direction. "If you are not informed you may be deformed and if you are deformed you may not perform.

10. Pray to God: prayer is an essential and integral part of any mans (generic) life. Don't forget to pray the Holy Bible assert "it is not of him that runneth nor of him that willeth buth of Him that showeth mercy (paraphrase). God bless you for taking your time to read.
