Job Title: Accountant

Summary
Oversee the preparation of reports the organization's financial position and assist in making sound financial decisions

Responsibilities
Work to define and implement cost management frameworks and controls to manage organization's cost profile
Co-ordinate the timely preparation of financial statements (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Ensure financial reports reflect the financial position and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
Co-ordinate the timely preparation of statutory returns to applicable statutory bodies
Recommend strategies for investing
Ensure real time monitoring and reporting of budget/actual variance to facilitate speedy decision making
