Hello, many importer of household, foot ware, kitchen, rug, frigde, washing machine, rims, cars and other used item are affected with the exchange rate. Hence, rate of sales decreases because people are still looking for opportunity to buy cheap items from them.

My advice to our friends in the importation business is to import consumables and sell at affordable rate to interested buyers. This will enable their imported goods to sell fast and have a better return on their investment.

Items like motor parts is still selling very well, likewise used phones. Base on my experience on warehouse matter I can give top 10 item that sell very well, this will help average importer to know what to import to Lagos.

More people may likely stay off importation business because of the Dollar raising. But I see a future where dollar will not determine import and export of items any more. my advise is, don't allow this temporal situation block us from future blessing. Even though I'm in support of locally made items which is the hallmark of our economic growth. But in the interim we still have to depend on this used item to meet necessary need. Hope someone do agree with me.
