In Nigeria, Nigeria spent billions of naira which would have been used in other areas to fight a war against terror influenced by religion.

If there was no bokoharam there won't be dasuki gate.

So we have spent all this money , yet our problem is not over.

Today the price of oil has fallen, affecting our budget and currency.

This fall is as a result of an attempt to starve ISIS of funds. Also Saudi Arabia wants to frustrate Iran so They don't make money from oil.

We are suffering all this today because of religion.

There's credibility in the OP's statement however its not 100% plausible.
In addtion to your reasons there's also the UN frustrating Russia over its takeover of Crimea and its stance on backing and fighting to retain the Assad regime.
