Rene Angelil, the man Celine called ‘the only boyfriend’ she ever has, finally lost his long battle with throat cancer yesterday. He passed away at the family’s home in Las Vegas surrounded by his family and loved ones. Rene was first diagnosed with cancer in 1998 when he developed a tumour on the neck. The growth was removed and he became healthy again until the disease returned years later and became fatal.
