Realization Of A Publishing Dream: The Story Of Judith Iweoha by Amaga(m): 12:50pm On Jan 18, 2016
Judith Iweoha, a published author, began her journey to publishing her first book while at the higher institution. Her plan was to publish the manuscript after her service year but all that changed during the service year when her friends suggested to her to publish the book and use it for her primary assignment. This kick started her publishing drive.

When Judith decided to publish, she had one major challenge – finances. To overcome this, while resorting to prayers, she made huge saving from her allowance thereby sacrificing the ability to buy the things she wanted. This however was not enough. She then approached friends to help her realize what has now become her dream during the service year. Few came to her aid and she was able to go to press and have her first book published. The book is titled, ‘Beyond Ties’.

Beyond Ties is a morally inspiring book which brings to the fore the lives of some students while in the university. It presents unique characters, with their history and motivation, which keeps the book alive with the message of hope, love and more importantly, God.
When Judith was through with service in February, 2015, she took copies of ‘Beyond Ties’ to the Delta State Ministry of Education where it was appreciated. The process of absorbing it into the Junior and Senior secondary schools curriculum is in progress.

One memorable thing about the book ‘Beyond Ties’ for Judith is that it has helped her connect to great minds in the field whose writing have opened her eyes to the need to attack the growing state of moral decadence in our society.
Judith is currently working on her second book which she believes will uplift so many youths disappointed by family and friends who promised to help them in pursuing their destiny. This is primarily because she agrees that is a waste of productive years to dwell on self pity because “there is more than we seek”.

Judith is currently based in Kaduna. Call 08110232452 to order her book, ‘Beyond Ties’.
