SAMSUNG is expected to launch its next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7, next month. And if it looks anything like this, we'll be at the front of the queue.

Curved Labs has imagined a radical new design for the Samsung smartphone

Samsung will unveil its next flagship smartphone next month.
The next-generation handset is rumoured to boast a microSD card slot, improved camera and pressure-sensitive display, similar to 3D Touch in Apple's iPhone 6S.
Schematics of the Galaxy S7 intended for case manufacturers were leaked last year. These revealed a very similar design to the award-winning S6 Edge.
But that hasn't stopped Curved Labs posting some staggeringly beautiful concept images of what the successor to the S6 Edge could look like.
The stylish design moves the USB Type-C port to the top of the device to make room for another curved Edge display along the bottom of its face.
Curved Labs did find room for a microSD slot at the bottom of the smartphone, something.

The concept images also imagines the camera being flush with the rear case, and a home button integrated with the glass on the front of the device.
The back side has soft rounded edges, like Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6S design.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy S7 recently revealed the smartphone will use microUSB rather than USB-Type C for syncing and fast-charging.
Wireless charging via the Qi standard will also be supported, insiders reveal.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will launch worldwide in March 2016 following an announcement at Mobile World Congress in late February.
The US newspaper also collaborates reports that the flagship smartphone will be one of the first mainstream Android smartphones to ship with a pressure-sensitive display.
Synaptics is believed to be developing the pressure sensitive display and technology that will power the new smartphone.
Similar to Apple's 3D Touch, the Synaptics' technology – dubbed ClearForce – responds to different levels of pressure applied to the multitouch glass display.
The pressure sensitive technology will allow Samsung to add more options to the display than the traditional swipe, pinch and tap used on multi-touch smartphones.
Apple introduced pressure sensitive displays to its product line with the Apple Watch.

The Cupertino firm incorporated its new technology into its best-selling smartphone with the release of the iPhone 6S in September.
3D Touch allows faster access to a number of new menus baked into iOS.
Pushing harder than a standard tap on an app icon now summons a new menu of frequently used features. Pushing into documents, emails or URLs pops open a live preview.
The ClearForce technology will be able to control scrolling speeds with pressure, add new ways to zoom and pan over photographs, summon hidden contextual menus, according to Synaptics.
Samsung's latest handset has some fierce competition from the likes of Google Nexus 6P, Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as well as upcoming smartphones from LG and HTC.
