for those that don't know, CBN has just introduced another dimension to revenue generation and profit milking both for the common man and companies alike. all bank transfers above 1000 naira from a current account is to suffer 50 naira stamp duties charge. this is separate from the normal charges banks deduct from transfers. another question is if these stamp duties expenses will be tax deductible.
