Hello Nairalanders, i am Anderson and i'm a screenwriter( or wish to be one cos i haven't sold/produce any of my screenplays). However, my main problem is how to get producers/directors to read my screenplays. I have many because i love writing and thats the only thing i do when i don't have lectures. I live in Uyo and thats d problem because producers/directors here seems to be obsessed with Ibibio/Efik films which doesn't favour us non-indigenous writers here. U hardly see movies being produced in english here. So, i would like u guys to advise me on how to go about it. How do i get producers/directors from other states to read my script? U hardly see auditions being held here, so what should i do? I would like your helpful advise guys. And i'm from Rivers.
