Mechanically the SUV is expected to remain unchanged. A 2.2-litre four-cylinder oil burner churning out 140PS of power and 330Nm of torque is expected to do duty under the Mahindra XUV500 facelift. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.The automaker plans to further boost its sales with the launch of this SUV. The new Mahindra XUV500 facelift will be launched in India this year. Once launched, this refreshed SUV will lock horns with the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Tata Safari Storme.
