LOCATION: LAGOS

SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications officer is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organisation’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. He/she oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic for all our products and services.
• Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions, edit, proofread, and revise communications.
• Design and launch email marketing campaigns.
• Recommend, implement and maintain website design and operation.
• Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
• Develop marketing communications campaigns.
• Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
• Conduct extensive media outreach.
• Prepare briefing materials.
• Manage information online and offline.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum, BSc. in marketing, Journalism or related field
• Previous work experience in management consulting would be an added advantage
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills.
• Must be a team player and with good oral and written communications skills.
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
