When a blind leads the blind
Irony plays out at the expense of freedom
“Aditi Oloko”
I sing the praises of the ones who fell behind
And as the blind took over from the one-eyed
Inanities befuddle my herd- the herd that used to be a pride

Yet, I cried
“Ko..ko..ko la nro Ifa aditi”
Screamed and bawled until my lungs were sore
A man cannot bear hot coal in his bosom
And afford a moment of slumber
But auditory impairment is quite the assassin


“A’pani ma yo’da”
Death and famine are close by
But few have so much
And much, so few- how then?
How will these handicapped herd make it?
Through the folly of the supposed Alpha

Tears might drown my visage
But blood and gore will drench these sorry ones
When a blind leads the blind and deaf
As they forge deeper into the ripper’s den
The dog has become the lion’s guest
Surely, there shall be a bloodbath
