Even though blogging has been around for some time now, only recently did Nigerians start to take it seriously. Presently, the rate at which Nigerians are creating blogs is on the increase.

This is due to the widespread notion that blogging is a lucrative online business that could be a real money-spinner.

But the belief that blogging is a goldmine didn’t just strike Nigerians by chance. The remarkable successes recorded by fellow Nigerians in the world of blogging brought about the belief. So in this article, we will be looking at the 20 most influential bloggers in Nigeria.

Keep in mind that these people may not necessarily be the richest online entrepreneurs in the country. But they have been able to make strong impacts in the world of blogging. With their blogs, they have been able to improve the lives of Nigerians at home and in Diaspora. Now, let’s see who’s on our list:

Linda Ikeji was a former model. She left modeling less than a decade ago and later started her blog, LindaIkeji..com which later become one of the most popular blogs in Nigeria. He shares inclusive news on celebrities, sports, education and other important information and opinions on his blog. Makinde gives us such a Nigerian vibe and we are addicted to his site.

4. Samuel Ayeni Adekunle
Samuel can be listed among the Most Influential Bloggers in Nigeria. He is the founder of Thenet.ng. His site is entertaining and original, focusing on celebrities, lifestyles, music and videos, latest Nigeria news and information.
Thenet.ng is a collective site about Nigeria and her people. His site provides the important details of most celebrities’ lives that would otherwise be hidden.

Chude Jideonwo is the CEO of RED media group.
