With MTN Notify Me, you will get to know through SMS message when a phone number you could not reach becomes available on the network. You can then call the number being sure that it is now available.



To activate both services: text SET 01 to 100
To activate Who Called alone: text SET 02 to 100
To cancel subscription: text DELETE to 100

Note: Both services are FREE! You don't even have to be subscribed to voicemail to activate these services.

I have two Etisalat lines but have never noticed it. I have been getting the messages on my Mtn line lately but its now I understand whats it about.
Its one thing to offer the service & its another thing to advertise & publicize it so that people like us can know. If not for this thread now, I might still not have understood those messages.
Etisalat needs to start publicizing theirs else it will be taken as nonexistent.

If they decide to start charging for it in the future, they will notify customers before they do so.

It is not new, Airtel did it sometime ago.

Its free of charge,its not a new service though,it came with MTN connect call...that is/was about 3yrs ago.

If it's free, then what's the need subscribing?

Did I subscribe for end of call info notifications?
