My present laptop's (Dell inspiron E1505) been showing signs of failure lately n i have an external hard drive of 160gb. I'd like to know if it's possible for me to instal an O.S. (Vista) on the external harddrive then boot from it. |

ofcourse you can, that is if your BIOS ROM supports loading an operating system from a USB device. |

just make the external your second boot and ur CD or DVD drive the first and disable the SATA under the bios setup you can still call me if you don't understand it.my regard chris 08070525478 |
