I have been trying to figure out this since morning. This might look simple, 11:59 is PM.(midnight). My question is, is 12:00 pm or AM.? Think of this, does the 12:00 belongs to the new day or the former day?

My dear, there is nothing to be confused about... 12 mid night is 12a.m. of a new day. PAUSE! Remember when we were about entering the,new year, you were all over your wrist watch or wall clock anticipating to witness “a switch over“... When it was 12AM everybody chorused “HAPPY NEW YEAR“ hence 12 mid night is for a new day... 12AM.

technically nothing like 12am rather 00.00am,you.count from naught ,not 12 and back to 1.
