Bring up your arguments and confront positively, let the argument have a positive impact on the business with strong key-points to back up your perception. Records are extremely important when communicating with a bad boss. Be it mails, documents, amongst others. Ensure you always have a copy of vital information. In times of arguments, always present your fact completely as this will gain you some respect from your boss.

5. Get people's opinion

Tactically get your co-worker's opinion about your boss. How their experiences are? are you just the only one having such experience? what is the major issue? how do these your co-workers react to issues? Do this to expand your perception and develop better ways. Sometimes you may also need to talk to your boss's boss. Get to know their relationship, is he/she also like your boss? or an an approachable kind of boss. Moving above your direct manager's head can hit back at you, so you have to do it with extreme care.
