I am expecting this any way because the country's national cake is not deposited indefinitely in their bank any longer. They are fool, instead of reducing exorbitant money paid to the works so as to strike the balance and still keep the staff they embark on mass retrenchment. This should be visited my NLC 1 Like |

We are complaining that there are no jobs, as if that's not enough, even the ones that have jobs now are losing theirs. What's the way forward for this country? 3 Likes |

Sooner, people might begin to commit suicide in this country, and I wouldn't blame them. Imagine a man with a wife and kid, losing his income source at this critical time. Rent, food, health, education, up keep of parents and younger ones, and other miscellaneous expenses, will continue to increase his BP. Sometimes I feel if life were optional, some would have preferred not existing at all. This reminds me of a young guy in one org who got married in the year 2014, and was relieved of his job late 2015. Right now, he is teaching in a secondary school. With the high rate of job insecurity in this country, it surprises me that a lot of people ignore the trend, and choose to always go the family way by marrying, after 2 to 3 years of securing a job, without having laid a genuine and reliable financial foundation. Anyway, na dem dey carry their cross. Some of these bankers have been sacked as a result of under performance. It is a pointer to every worker now to brazen up, and add value to himself. If your org does not recognize your values or skills, you will most certainly be laid off in the event of downsizing. So much as this news is heart troubling, those who are willing and ready to learn, will always learn from the misfortune of others. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

i don't envy those in the banking sector, there is no job security there at all. Anyone working in a bank should have a plan b from the day of assumption of duty. 1 Like 1 Share |

Principles cannot be broken! Those who complain, wail, murmur & always profess the wrong things will most definitely see, experience and feel their confession. As for me, everything is working out in my favour and I will always eat the good of the land in spite of the odds. It can only get better! 1 Like 1 Share |
