Consequent upon the directive by the amiable minister of power, electricity and works, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) to remove the respective monthly (service) charge(s) across the various light billing system of the country with effect from the 1st day of February, there's been drastic changes in the service customers pay for.
* units receieved after payment have significantly reduced.
* family budget with respect to power has definitely increased.
Most notable is the fact that debt owed on or before the 1st of february 2016 will STILL need to be cleared before the affected customers can begin to "enjoy" the dividends of the monthly charge removal.
To those of you who have the exclusive honor of making prepaid recharges at the various distribution companies, banks, retail outlets, online and indeed those of you who craved for this cause, that change is finally here!
