Recently, there’s been so much alleged theft sceneries all  around the entertainment industry, at first, we had the Nigerian beef between the Mainland and Island reps, and before we could spell ‘whatever’, we had foreign celebrities beefing each other all over the pace. Then we had Blackface and Dammy Krane throwing allegations, but now guess what? Beyonce has just been thrown under the bus because of an ‘allegedly’ stolen clip in her most recent video, ‘Formation’

As observed on twitter, just a few minutes ago,  Abteen Baheri and Chris Black, took to twitter to lash out at Beyonce, and the video director for ‘Formation’, Melina Matsoukas, after a few scenes from their documentary ‘That Beat’, were used in Beyonce’s new video. They claimed that Beyonce and her crew had used the footage from their documentary without giving them any credit for it.

Further investigations into the matter, revealed that the duo had earlier sold their documentary to the Sundance channel, who are now having full rights over the footage, and although Beyonce’s team didn’t seek for permission from Abteen and Chris, Sundance Channel, who now assume full rights of the documentary, gave the go-ahead! And more still, Formation’s director, Melina, took to twitter, to give a shout out to the duo, in a responsible tone.
