So today I saw a very interesting news on goal.com. Apparently, before Chima Akas captained the Super Eagles to the CHAN Tournament, he agreed personal terms with Enyimba FC to sign for a monthly salary of N500,000.

However, after the tournament and on hearing about the proposed deal, Akwa United pounced and offered the player N150,000 more! And as a sharp Naija guy, he signed for Akwa United!

Personally, I am happy that the days of Enyimba dominating the transfer window has ended. Even Ifeanyi Uba FC has started bringing in foreign pros!
