Set by the antagonist and accuser of the brethren

Oh Lord, you only are my refuge

Oh Lord, where else can I seek help



In the North, I see deep dug ditches

In the South, I see throng of foes

In the East, preying eyes of wolves

In the west, breeze of hardship



In my room, the face of the tempter

With my friends, the sown thorns of enmity

In the church, the faith breakers

In my heart, the fierce battle between thee and the devil



Oh Lord, my Light and Salvation

On you is all my hope and trust
